RESOLUTION NO. 1: DRAGONGUARD'S DISCREPANCIES
ADVENTURERS LEAGUE PHILIPPINES
A RESOLUTION PASSED BY THE LOCAL COORDINATOR FOR ADDRESSING THE DISCREPANCIES FOR THE ITEM CALLED “DRAGONGUARD” FOUND IN THE ADVENTURE: LOST MINE OF PHANDELVER.
Resolution No. 1
WHEREAS, a magic item, specifically an armor, named “Dragonguard” is included and described within the published adventure known as “The Lost Mine of Phandelver,” within pages 48 and 52;
WHEREAS, an Adventurers League Magic Item Certificate, with heading titled as “+1 Armor,” which also mentions the same name (of Dragonguard) within its fluff text is existent for use;
WHEREAS, the same certificate labels the item’s rarity as “uncommon;”
WHEREAS, the description of build and function of said item in question more fittingly matches that of “Dragon Scale Mail,” with rarity of “very rare (requires attunement)” found within page 165 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide;
WHEREAS, an evident discrepancy between the description for the Item within the published adventure, the Item Certificate and that of the Dungeon Master’s Guide is reflected for a similarly described item;
WHEREAS, this local coordinator is thoroughly convinced of the evident and transcendental need to clarify the confusion that the two publications brings.
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises on the motion of the Local Coordinator, in his prerogative, be it RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, that the item known as “Dragonguard,” found in the adventure Lost Mine of Phandelver, shall now be considered hereon forward as having the traits as according for an item known as “Dragon Scale Mail” found in page 165 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide;
FURTHER RESOLVED THAT for the same named item as being described above, shall be treated as of the Black dragonkind;
FURTHER RESOLVED THAT all other entries with respects to said item known as “Dragonguard” have been herein revised and accordingly adjusted. Hence, all other entries from the original texts from the published adventure (other than the name and general description, which shall be retained) and that of the Adventurers League released Item Certificate for this.
ADOPTED on 19th of September, year two-thousand and fifteen.
